In the context of the COVID19 pandemic, social distancing is prohibitive to the normal running of the hairdressing industry, as so much of the service relies on physical touch.  Whilst it may be humorous to see and hear the stories of people in lockdown taking matters into their own hands, as social media is flooded with pictures of people sharing their quarantine hair fails (hairdressing techniques really aren’t as easy to do as they look!), for many people, especially those suffering with hair loss, lockdown has been a very stressful time.

Hair loss has many possible causes – genetics, alopecia, thyroid problems, stress, and cancer treatment being just some.  But the one thing they all have in common is their impact – loss of self-esteem, depression, anxiety and other emotional wellbeing issues.  During lockdown, stress and anxiety may even be causing increased shedding for some hair loss sufferers.

I’ve seen many hairdressers stressing the need to wait, with quotes such as “the best thing you can do for your hairdresser is wait for them”, here at David Rozman we decided not to wait, instead we got creative and brought to life an idea that we’d been pondering for a while – home hair replacement systems.

What is more despite the advanced level of service on offer we can, in most cases, still consult, prepare and dispatch a hair system in just 3 days, making us comparable with the standard hair only service provided by much of the market.

For an additional layer of comfort and peace of mind we also offer the option of hair replacement system insurance, meaning that should our client’s accidentally damage the system, or simply wish to change it within 14 days they can order a replacement at no additional cost.
